Beyond Birthday (ビヨンド・バースデイ, Biyondo Bāsudei) is a character from the novel Death Note: Another Note: The Los Angeles BB Murder Cases. He is a former successor for L from Wammy's House and the serial killer behind the Los Angeles BB Murder Case.
Historia. Cuando Beyond Birthday era un niño, siempre fue muy callado y tímido, pero a su vez se le podía interpretar como un ser frío. Siendo muy niño su madre murió en un asalto, posteriormente su padre moriría en un accidente de tren. Luego de un tiempo fue encontrado por Watari y llevado a la Casa de Wammy debido a su inteligencia.

Beyond Birthday (ビヨンド=バースデイ) Beyond Birthday was the second child taken in at Wammy's House, in an attempt to create a successor for L; however, the pressure was too much for him and he ran away from the orphanage. In reality, he is the serial killer behind the Los Angeles Serial Killings.
The story is a prequel to the manga Death Note, and expands on the briefly-mentioned Los Angeles "BB Murder Cases". Plot. The story is narrated by Mello, a character from the manga. It recounts the time the detective L worked with FBI agent Naomi Misora to stop a violent serial killer in the United States.
