9 de may. de 2017 · Borden, being a part of the original Georgia group, in 1975, was the lead drummer, performing in some of their famous albums, including their self-titled album and Another Mother Further album. The band got their funky inspiration from the funk group Sly and The Family Stone, but almost seven years later disbanded.

5 de sept. de 2007 · #1. Does anyone remember Mother's Finest? BB Queen (Barry Borden) was my favorite drummer for the band (they have gone through a few in 30 years). BB played on a few of their albums, most notably Another Mother Further, Mother's Finest Live and Iron Age. He is kind of like a funky John Bonham.

Barry "BB" Borden (Atlanta, Georgia, 1954) played drums in Southern rock band Outlaws when they reformed with a new lineup in 1983. Barry Borden, also simply known as BB, was previously drummer in Molly Hatchet and played with Mother's Finest
The band's current line-up consists of Gray on vocals; keyboard player, saxophonist and flautist Marcus James Henderson; guitarists Chris Hicks and Rick Willis, bassist Ryan Ware and drummer B.B. Borden.
