Bananawani (バナナワニ?, Banana Gators in the English versions) are giant crocodiles with banana-shaped growths on their heads. They are so fierce that they even prey on Sea Kings and are to date the Sea Kings' only known natural predator.

So this could mean 3 things: 1.Vivi has no idea what a Seaking is and was told lies. 2.Bananawani's have extreme posions (like a comodo-dragon) 3.The Bananawani hunt in groups of 2000 to 3000 Bananawanies
31 de may. de 2023 · The giant crocodiles known as Bananawani are their only natural predators and enemies, while the Yuda snakes are considered to be too fierce, even for the Sea Kings, and are, on top of that, poisonous.
I say retconned as Oda may have just stayed that they prey on Sea Kings just to make bananawanis seem more dangerous than they actually are, and once he started fleshing things out, sea Kings play a bigger part and seem to be way more intimidating, ferocious and dangerous.
