In the early ‘80s when high gain and hot pickups were the way most players leaned, Seymour modified one of his humbuckers for a friend who was a master Fusion player and composer. The AH combines overwound coils and an Alnico 5 magnet with two rows of adjustable screws.
Allan Holdsworth (6 August 1946 – 15 April 2017) was a British jazz fusion and progressive rock guitarist, violinist and composer. He contributed to numerous bands, including Soft Machine, U.K., The Tony Williams Lifetime, Pierre Moerlen's Gong and Bruford, in addition to solo work.
