According to Robwinzz, the Bear plushie is called a "Sigh Bear", from Africa, although Cheedaman has said otherwise. The manufacturer of the product was a company called Slippers for Sally's. They used to create slippers with the materials, and they started making "Fluffy Sam Bears".
Does anyone have information about a teddy bear called the Africa Sigh Bear? Possible it may be called Africa Sigh Bear or maybe Africa Sign Bear. Not sure. Black bears of all ages and both sexes rub their scent on marking trees, including wooden sign posts and utility poles, but the majority of this marking is by mature males during the mating season (May and June in Minnesota). They rub their shoulders, neck and crown and may also claw and bite the tree.
