check the permissions of the Dolphin Emulator folder in your Documents. It should not be read only, and you should be the owner with full read, write and create permissions. If that doesn't work, try changing the memory card type from GCI folders to Memory Card in Config > GameCube.
Unregistered. I have two computers with Dolphin on Windows 10 x64. The exact same Gamecube memory card file that works fine with all games on one computer results in the message "Memory card in slot A corrupted" in Beyond Good and Evil and Paper Mario, while Metroid Prime 2 works.
So I was playing LoZ: WW when, for some reason or other, my PC froze and had to be turned off manually. After rebooting the computer and restarting Dolphin, when I tried to load my file, this message came up (the same is true for my LoZ: TP file). I've already tried Tools>MemCardManager>FixChecksums, but that hasn't worked.
Recently, I installed Dolphin and have been trying to play Windwaker, I keep getting an error that says "The Memory Card in Slot A is corrupted and needs to be formatted. Would you like to format it now?" I press "yes" and it responds with, "The Memory Card in Slot A cannot be used with this game." Is this a common problem? And how do I fix it?

Under Config -> GameCube -> Device Settings -> Slot A, what do you have selected? If it's 'Memory Card' that statement is probably correct and you should reformat the card. If it's 'GCI Folder' something else is going on, as that shouldn't happen, please report back if that's the case.
