Algunas otras canciones de Barrett quedaron en el olvido, como “Scream Thy Last Scream” y “Vegetable Man”; en la última se habla de que Syd hacia una descripción de sí mismo. “I am a vegetable man”, siendo ésta considerada en un comienzo para ser lanzada como sencillo, pero luego descartada al verla como una canción que no encajaba con el naciente estilo del grupo.
