Home Improvement Programme (HIP) The HIP helps you resolve common maintenance problems of ageing flats such as spalling concrete. HIP works are carried out in a systematic and comprehensive way to minimise inconvenience to you.
MORPC works to help low- and moderate-income households maintain and improve their homes through repair and energy efficiency (weatherization) programs. Each program has different eligibility requirements, so please review the information below to determine which program meets your needs.
The Welcome Home Ohio (WHO) program is designed to provide grants for the purchase of qualifying residential properties, the cost of construction or rehabilitation, or a nonrefundable tax credit for qualifying activities.
The Home Weatherization Assistance Program (HWAP) provides eligible Ohioans with assistance to improve the energy efficiency of their homes and reduce their energy costs. Ohioans participating in the HWAP will receive a home inspection to identify the services necessary to improve their home’s energy efficiency.
The Critical Home Repair Program provides for prioritized essential home repairs. City staff will work with you to determine the priority and amount of work that is allowable under the program guidelines.
Through the Mortgage Assistance component of the program, OHFA can make payments directly to mortgage servicers to help eligible Ohio homeowners with delinquent mortgages and/or up to six months of future mortgage payments.
