  4. Gradually new branches were established: Jerusalem in 1996, Bethlehem in 1997, Nablus in 2010, and in 2012 the Gaza Music School was incorporated. In 2017 the Tchaikovsky Music School in Bethlehem became the sixth branch of the ESNCM.

  5. The Edward Said National Conservatory of Music ( Arabic: معهد ادوارد سعيد الوطني للموسيقى Ma`had Edward Sa`īd al-Waṭaniy lil-Musīqā) is a Palestinian music conservatory with branches in Ramallah, Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Nablus and Gaza City. In total, there are more than 1,000 students.

  6. The Palestine National Orchestra (PNO) is the zenith of the ESNCM’s orchestral vision, and the fruit of an incremental approach which has been propagated and nurtured since the establishment of the conservatory in 1993.

  7. Participating in the Orchestra provides a first-rate training experience for young Palestinian musicians. The orchestra’s programmes include arrangements of traditional Arabic music, alongside music by the greats of classical music.
