Incredibly gory. The first volume has him bisecting a guy with a giant sword and that’s the most tame part of that volume. However, I think its gore is easy to swallow, despite how graphic it is. There is very rarely a scene where the gore feels over the top or unrealistic

The biggest thing is the violence is a lot more real in Berserk than it is in Higurashi. Higurashi may be gory at times, but the violence is a product of the premise of the story rather than a core attribute and reflection of humanity. Berserk is more gruesome, more disturbing, and more mature in its treatment of both those things.

I’m an insane Soulsborne fan and I’ve wanted to get into manga and hearing that Berserk inspired my favorite games made me interested. I’ve heard there’s an insane amount of gore, nudity, and in general mature themes.
31 de ago. de 2016 · I love how gory and action-driven the show is (the fight scenes are awesome), but I also enjoy the deeper meanings that the show portrays with its character development and plot. For example, I like the general coming-of-age style of Guts' narrative, and I have noticed other religious motifs throughout the show.
