Jackie Curtis (February 19, 1947 – May 15, 1985) was an American actor, writer, singer, and Warhol superstar . Early life and career. Jackie Curtis was born John Curtis Holder Jr. in New York City to John Holder and Jenevive Uglialoro and had one sibling, half-brother Timothy Holder, who is an openly gay Episcopal priest.
Jackie Curtis was a friend and collaborator of Andy Warhol and Paul Morrissey, and a performer in their films and plays. He was also a playwright, poet, singer and drag queen who died of a drug overdose in 1985.
