Annie Freud speaking at the Biblioteca Central in Porto Alegre, 2011. Annie Freud (born 1948) is an English poet and artist. She is the eldest child of the artist Lucian Freud, and his first wife Kitty Garman. Earlier in her career, she was a civil servant.
Annie Freud is a poet, artist, editor and teacher. She is the daughter of painter Lucian Freud and has won several awards for her poetry collections, including the Glen Dimplex New Writers' Award and the Poetry Book Society's Next Generation Poets Award.
