Abu'l-Fath Jalal-ud-din Muhammad Akbar [1] (en persa: ابو الفتح جلال الدين محمد اكبر ) (25 de octubre de 1542-27 de octubre de 1605) [1] más conocido como Akbar o Akbar el Grande (Akbar-i-azam, اکبر اعظم), fue el tercer emperador mogol de la India desde 1556 hasta 1605.
