Biografía. Tras iniciarse como músico en el mundo del jazz, comenzó a trabajar como aprendiz de ingeniero de sonido para la discográfica EMI, llegando a ser productor e ingeniero de sonido en los míticos estudios de Abbey Road y a trabajar con grupos como The Beatles o Pink Floyd .
1959−2007. Norman Smith (22 February 1923 – 3 March 2008) [1] was an English musician, record producer and engineer. In the 1960s, he notably engineered all of the Beatles ' EMI studio recordings up to the end of 1965 and produced three Pink Floyd albums including their first, The Piper at the Gates of Dawn (1967).
