Matthias Erzberger ( Buttenhausen, 20 de septiembre de 1875- Bad Griesbach, 26 de agosto de 1921) fue un escritor y político alemán del Partido de Centro y ministro de Finanzas de 1919 a 1920.
Matthias Erzberger (20 September 1875 – 26 August 1921) was a politician of the Catholic Centre Party, member of the Reichstag and minister of finance of Germany from 1919 to 1920. Erzberger was first elected to the Reichstag of the German Empire in 1903.
Destacado integrante del católico Partido del Centro, se pronunció contra la Primera Guerra Mundial a partir de 1917 y, como representante autorizado del gobierno del Reich, firmó el armisticio entre Alemania y las potencias aliadas. Fue asesinado en 1921 por el grupo paramilitar de ultraderecha Organización Cónsul.
Matthias Erzberger (born Sept. 20, 1875, Buttenhausen, Württemberg, Ger.—died Aug. 26, 1921, Black Forest, Baden) was a leader of the left wing of the Roman Catholic Centre Party in Germany and signatory of the Armistice of World War I.

Erzberger was a leading member of the Centre Party and a supporter of a negotiated peace in the First World War. He signed the armistice of Compiègne in 1918 and was assassinated by right-wing terrorists in 1921.
