Emmanuelle Charpentier (Juvisy-sur-Orge, Francia; 11 de diciembre de 1968) es una microbióloga y bioquímica francesa. En 2020 fue galardonada con el Premio Nobel de Química «por el desarrollo de un método para edición genética», premio compartido con Jennifer Doudna .
Con 51 años, la francesa, y con 56 años, la estadounidense, se convirtieron en la sexta y séptima mujeres en ganar un Nobel de química desde 1901. También recibieron el Princesa de Asturias de Investigación Científica y Técnica en 2015 por estos mismos logros.
