  7. 15 de mar. de 2022 · Sir Simon Fraser went on to fight alongside Robert the Bruce, and is said to have saved his life three times at the Battle of Methven in 1306, which explains the three crowns on the Fraser of Lovat coat of arms. Such valour cost Sir Simon his life as he was hung, drawn and quartered on the orders of King Edward Longshanks in 1306.
