23 de oct. de 2022 · The cabinet voted to appoint Maj. Gen. Herzi Halevi, the current deputy chief of staff, as the 23rd IDF commander on Sunday. He will replace Lt. Gen. Aviv Kohavi on January 17, after a controversial process that bypassed the November election.
