Tsering Dolma (1919 - 21 November 1964) was the founder of the non-profit refugee organisation Tibetan Children's Villages and was the older sister of the 14th Dalai Lama, Tenzing Gyatso.
She is committed to working for the cause of Tibet with sincerity, dedication, and following the advice of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. Currently, she is a member of the 17th Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile from Dhotoe province and also the Chair of the Local Tibetan Assembly at Shillong, Meghalaya.
Ms. Dolma Tsering Teykhang was born on 1st July 1956 at Dagne, Tibet. She completed her school education, followed by her bachelor’s degree and teacher training course with the kind help and blessing of His Holiness the great 14th Dalai Lama, and the Central Tibetan Administration.
