Lodi Gyaltsen Gyari Rinpoche, Kasur Lodi Gyari or "as he is universally known to the Tibetan-speaking world (as well as to Himalayan community), Gyari Rinpoche" (25 August 1949 – 29 October 2018) was a Tibetan politician, and journalist who served as the 14th Dalai Lama's special envoy to the United States.
Lodi Gyari Rinpoche (Pema Lodrö Gyaltsen, Tib. རྒྱ་རི་བློ་གྲོས་) (1949-2018) was one of the founding members of the Tibetan Youth Congress and the Executive Chairman of the Board of the International Campaign for Tibet (ICT). He was also the special envoy to His Holiness the Dalai Lama in Washington D.C., USA.
Lodi Gyari Rinpoche, who was the Dalai Lama's special envoy in Washington DC for many years, composed this short prayer to His Holiness in 2006.
