  1. Efraim Halevy (Hebrew: אפרים הלוי; born 2 December 1934) is an Israeli intelligence expert and diplomat. He was the 9th director of the Mossad and the 3rd head of the Israeli National Security Council. He is known for his part in bringing about the Israel–Jordan peace treaty.
