Christine Tobin (born 7 January 1963, Dublin, Ireland) is an Irish vocalist and composer from Dublin who has been part of the London jazz and improvising scene since the second half of the 1980s.
Christine's latest project, Returning Weather, imaginatively weaves song, spoken word and a stellar group of musicians from diverse disciplines together, creating a multi-dimensional sound-world which blends influences from folk, 20th-century art song and jazz.
The Dublin born and raised, multi-award winning vocalist and composer, has been an integral part of both the New York City and London scenes for many years. She returned to Ireland in 2020 and is now based in Northwest Co. Roscommon.
Irish born vocalist/composer Tobin is renowned for her unique rich voice & original compositional style. She has twelve highly acclaimed albums under her own name & four major awards under her belt.

PELT is Christine’s settings of poems and lyrics by contemporary Pulitzer Prize winning poet, Paul Muldoon. Although a continuation of her alchemy with fine words and music and her exploration of the chemistry between the two, PELT marks a new direction and a new musical soundscape.
