Michael Paul Hinson (nacido el 3 de febrero de 1981 en Memphis, Tennessee) es un cantautor y guitarrista de americana y de indie. Se dio a conocer a finales de 2004 cuando sólo contaba con 23 años con su primer álbum titulado Micah P. Hinson and the Gospel of Progress.

His debut album Micah P. Hinson and the Gospel of Progress was released in 2004 to much critical praise.
