Lars Mikael Åkerfeldt (Estocolmo, Suecia; 17 de abril de 1974) [1] es el compositor, vocalista y principal guitarrista de la banda sueca de metal progresivo Opeth y exvocalista de la banda (también sueca) de death metal Bloodbath.

After Eruption came to an end in 1990, he joined Opeth, ostensibly as a bassist. When vocalist David Isberg insisted Åkerfeldt join the band, all other members left.
