Barry Reynolds (born 27 October 1949, in Bolton, Lancashire) is a British guitar player, songwriter, composer and producer, best known for his long-lasting collaboration with Marianne Faithfull. Reynolds first emerged with the band Pacific Drift which recorded one album that was released in 1970.

21 de feb. de 2022 · In later years, Reynolds has continued to work with Marianne Faithfull, and served as co-producer and writer on Baaba Maal’s albums, Television and Nomad Soul, respectively.In 2008, Reynolds teamed up with Grace Jones and co-wrote the track “Well Well Well,” which is featured on her album Hurricane.This year, Reynolds is back in the studio with Grace, and is co-writing her latest album.
Shortly afterwards, Faithfull began working with musician Barry Reynolds, who produced the songs "Broken English" and "Why D'Ya Do It?". The demos attracted the attention of Chris Blackwell who signed Faithfull to his record label Island Records . The album was recorded at Matrix Studios in London.
