Hezekiah (/ ˌ h ɛ z ɪ ˈ k aɪ. ə /; Biblical Hebrew: חִזְקִיָּהוּ , romanized: Ḥīzqīyyāhū), or Ezekias (born c. 741 BCE, sole ruler c. 716/15–687/86), was the son of Ahaz and the 13th king of Judah according to the Hebrew Bible.

Hezekiah (flourished late 8th and early 7th centuries bc) was the son of Ahaz, and the 13th successor of David as king of Judah at Jerusalem. The dates of his reign are often given as about 715 to about 686 bc , but inconsistencies in biblical and Assyrian cuneiform records have yielded a wide range of possible dates.
HEZEKIAH hĕz’ ə kī’ ə (חִזְקִיָּ֥ה; LXX ̔Εζεκίας, G1614, meaning Yahweh has strengthened). Hezekiah was a descendant of David and king of Judah. Three accounts are given of his reign ( 2 Kings 18:1-20:21 ; 2 Chron 29:1-32:33 ; Isa 36:1-39:8 ).
