Marike Jager (born 4 February 1979 in Amersfoort) is a Dutch singer-songwriter, guitarist and television presenter. She grew up in Leusden and learned to play the guitar while backpacking through Australia, New Zealand, Asia and South Africa.

Marike Jager ( Amersfoort, 4 februari 1979) is een Nederlands singer-songwriter en presentatrice . Biografie. Voorgeschiedenis. De in Leusden opgegroeide Marike Jager leerde gitaarspelen tijdens het reizen. Ze trok als rugzaktoeriste door Australië, Nieuw-Zeeland en Azië en schreef uiteindelijk in Zuid-Afrika haar eerste liedje Lizzy.
Over the last fifteen years, Marike Jager has created an innovative, highly personal body of work in The Netherlands and beyond. Jager kicked off her career with the talent award Grote Prijs van Nederland, while her records have racked up four nominations for the prestigious Edison music prize.
