Shadow Gallery combines musical influences from virtuoso guitarists, like as Jason Becker and Al Di Meola, as well as progressive rock bands such as Rush, Yes, Genesis and Pink Floyd. The band displays heavy metal influences from outfits Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Queensr che and Judas Priest.
Shadow Gallery is a progressive metal band, which formed in Pennsylvania (USA) in the 1980's, originally under the name "Sorcerer". After changing their name to Shadow Gallery, the band recorded an 8-track demo, which helped them sign to Magna Carta Records in 1991.
Shadow Gallery. Named after the underworld hideout of the main character V, in Alan Moore's graphic novel V for Vendetta. All members of Shadow Gallery have fairly successful, busy lives outside the band (several are audio engineers).
