EXO ( 엑소, Egso) es un grupo masculino formado por SM Entertainment en 2011. El grupo hizo su debut en abril de 2012 con doce integrantes divididos en dos subgrupos: EXO-K (Suho, Baekhyun, Chanyeol, Kai, D.O. y Sehun) y EXO-M (Xiumin, Chen, Lay, Kris, Tao y Luhan), promocionando música en Corea y China, respectivamente.
El 8 de marzo de 2012, EXO lanzó el vídeo musical en sus dos versiones (EXO-K y EXO-M) de su segundo sencillo prólogo 'History'. Cada video hacía énfasis en los miembros de un sub-grupo pero en ambos vídeos se presentaba a los doce miembros demostrando sus habilidades de baile y su poder vocal.
