Hot Panda was a Canadian indie rock band based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The band was fronted by Chris Connelly. [1] History. Hot Panda formed in 2006 in Edmonton, Alberta, naming themselves after a Chinese restaurant in Edmonton. [2] . The band released their debut EP Whale Headed Girl July 2007. [3] .
