Field Marshal Charles Ronald Llewelyn Guthrie, Baron Guthrie of Craigiebank, GCB, GCVO, OBE, DL (born 17 November 1938) is a retired senior officer of the British Army who served as Chief of the General Staff from 1994 to 1997 and Chief of the Defence Staff from 1997 until his retirement in 2001.
He also served as Chief of the General Staff, the professional head of the British Army, between 1994 and 1997. Raised to the peerage as Baron Guthrie of Craigiebank, of Craigiebank in the City of Dundee in 2001, Guthrie retired from the House of Lords in December 2020.

Charles Guthrie took command of the 1st Battalion Welsh Guards in Caterham in 1977, later moving to Berlin, and then to Northern Ireland in the late autumn of 1979.
Lord Guthrie of Craigiebank's full title is The Lord Guthrie of Craigiebank GCB LVO OBE DL. His name is Charles Ronald Llewelyn Guthrie, and he has retired from the House of Lords.
