Michael Moorer was an undefeated southpaw in his first 35 professional bouts. He captured the WBO light heavyweight title in 1988 which he defended 9 times. In 1991, Moorer moved up to Heavyweight winning the vacant WBO heavyweight title from Bert Cooper via TKO in 1992.
Michael Moorer is a retired American boxer who won the WBA and IBF heavyweight titles in 1994 and 1996. He fought 57 bouts, winning 52, with 40 knockouts, and lost to Evander Holyfield in 1997.
