College Football Hall of Fame. Dewey Willis Selmon (born November 19, 1953) is an American former professional football player who was a linebacker in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Oklahoma Sooners, forming the defensive line with brothers Lucious and Lee Roy, among others.

He is part of the legendary Selmon brothers trio that helped the Sooners win two national championships and two Big Eight titles.
Dewey Selmon was a two-time All-American nose guard for Oklahoma, helping the Sooners win back-to-back national titles in 1974 and 1975. He also excelled in the classroom, the NFL and the community, and will be inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2024.
