George Glenn Strange (August 16, 1899 – September 20, 1973) was an American actor who appeared in hundreds of Western films. He played Sam Noonan, the bartender on CBS's Gunsmoke television series, and Frankenstein's monster in three Universal films during the 1940s.

Glenn Strange was a versatile performer who appeared in hundreds of westerns, serials, and horror films. He played the Frankenstein monster in several Universal classics, and was a regular on Gunsmoke as Sam the bartender.
11 de mar. de 2024 · Glenn Strange's departure from Gunsmoke was abrupt and left a void that the show never fully recovered from. Despite his declining health, Strange continued acting on the show until his final episodes were aired posthumously.
