Two of Swenson's grandparents, James Nathan Hale and Ruth Hale, were playwrights; Ruth was also an actor. [2] Swenson moved throughout the United States during his childhood.
Will Swenson was born on 26 October 1972 in Provo, Utah, USA. He is an actor and producer, known for Sons of Provo (2004), The Switch (2010) and The Greatest Showman (2017). He has been married to Audra McDonald since 6 October 2012. They have one child. He was previously married to Amy Westerby.
