Gunnar Sønsteby var en norsk forretningsmann og motstandsmann under andre verdenskrig. Etter tidlig inntreden i den organiserte motstanden, ble han i mai 1942 rekruttert av «Special Operation Executive» (SOE), som den britiske spesialtjenestens fremskutte kontakt til de norske motstandsgruppene i Oslo-området.
Gunnar Fridtjof Thurmann Sønsteby (1918–2012) var en norsk motstandsmann under andre verdenskrig, best kjent som «Kjakan», men også som «Erling Fjeld» og «Nr. 24». Han var leder av Oslogjengen, der han opererte sammen med blant andre Max Manus. Sønsteby ledet og deltok i en rekke sabotasjeaksjoner i krigens løp.
