Bob Sweeney (1918-1992) was a versatile Hollywood professional who worked on various TV shows and movies, such as Hawaii Five-O, Marnie, and Son of Flubber. He was also a comedy partner of Hal March and a nominee for three Primetime Emmys.
After being traded to the Calgary Flames during the 1995–96 season Sweeney retired from the NHL. He spent the next season in the IHL before traveling across the Atlantic to play in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga from 1997 until 2001. He is currently the executive director of the Boston Bruins Foundation. [citation needed]
