John Lee Hooker ( Clarksdale, Misisipi; 22 de agosto de 1912 1 - Los Altos, California; 21 de junio de 2001) fue un cantante y guitarrista de blues estadounidense. Hijo de un aparcero, saltó a la fama interpretando una adaptación al estilo de la guitarra eléctrica del Delta blues que desarrolló en Detroit.
