Frances Ruffelle (born 29 August 1965) is an English musical theatre actress and singer. She won a Tony Award in 1987, and represented the United Kingdom in the 1994 Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Lonely Symphony (We Will Be Free)", finishing 10th. The song became a UK Top 30 hit.
Actress: Les Misérables. Frances Ruffelle has been performing from a young age, appearing in her first West End musical at the age of 16. She went on to create the role of "Eponine" in the blockbuster musical, Les Misérables, for which she won a Tony award when she took the role to Broadway.

Oh, and she is British, born in Essex. As a singer/songwriter Frances has released the albums Fragile (produced by Guy Chambers), Frances Ruffelle (an album of torch songs from the 16th century to the present day, produced by Spandau Ballet’s Gary Kemp), Showgirl and Imperfectly Me.
