When my oldest son, Sage, died, Eric was immediately on a plane from Oregon to Nashville and was there for my family in every way you can imagine. Not long after Sage died, Eric’s brother Christopher (also a close friend of mine) lost a long battle with cancer. We spent many hours discussing life, death, God, and eternity that year.
