Lady Byron's barony passed to her grandson Byron King-Noel, Viscount Ockham. In her will she left a £300 legacy to the writer George MacDonald, whom she had patronized during her life. Lady Byron Lane, off Knowle Road, Solihull, is named after her. Lady Byron was heiress of the Knowle estates through her father, Sir Ralph Milbanke Noel.
