To me, this song is about the carefree, innocent days of our youth. The days you laugh until you cry, the days when everything was brand new, feelings were fresh, and you took in and "saw" every moment, every raw feeling. For me, it's nostalgic. It reminds me of close friends, first love, and the purity and sincerity of those bonds.
