Susan is an internationally recognized rower, coach, and motivational speaker with a passion for writing and helping others. Despite her start as an uncoordinated basketball player, she discovered the sport of rowing at the University of Pennsylvania and immediately fell in love with it.
I couldn’t have been any happier! Rowing is what I was meant to do. I am so glad I had that epiphany because it led to a whole new series of adventures over the next 4 years. I challenged myself in the pair with my crewmate Erin Cafaro and won a World Championship gold and bronze.
