1 de may. de 1998 · Morgan, tenor man Billy Harper and trombonist Grachan Moncur III solo individually and collectively, while pianist Harold Mabern lays down Tyneresque chordal vamps. Harper shines brightest here, but Morgan fans will welcome the familiarity of the trumpeter's and pianist's solos.

The music: serious, long, modal, improvisations in post-hardbop style, with elements of Free Jazz and Fusion; a transitional mode. Lee Morgan's tone is varied as he uses the trumpet as well as the flugelhorn, it's incisive throughout. Billy Harper exhibits once again those qualities which make him one of my favorite tenor saxophonists.
