She received a Kodály certificate from the Kodály Music Training Institute (Hartt School of Music) and studied at the Kodály Intézét in Kecskemét, Hungary. She earned her Dalcroze Eurhythmics certificate at Carnegie Mellon University, and completed Level I Orff at Ohio State.
