I have been studying antimicrobial resistance (AMR) mechanisms for over 25 years and regularly publish in Nature and Lancet journals. My primary interests are: The use of antimicrobials in animals and its impact of human clinical failures. The drivers of AMR across all “one-health” sectors.
Prof Tim Walsh is a leading expert on antimicrobial resistance (AMR) mechanisms and their impact on human and animal health. He is the director of biology at the Ineos Oxford Institute of Antimicrobial Research, where he studies the global surveillance, burden and drivers of AMR.
