The Grey Coat Hospital is a Church of England secondary school with academy status for girls in Westminster, London, England. In 2013, it had 1064 pupils including 40 boys in the Sixth Form. [needs update] It is a specialist Language College.
Founded in 1698, The Grey Coat Hospital is a girls' school with boys in the sixth form. It aims to enable students to take charge of their learning, make decisions based on Christian values and meet the challenges of the twenty-first century.

The Grey Coat Hospital Foundation. The Grey Coat Hospital was formally established in 1698, with eight members of the congregation of St Margaret’s, Westminster donating towards its founding as a day school for 50 boys.
The Grey Coat Hospital School has one of the most complete and extensive set of archives of any state School in the country with all the Governors’ minutes dating from 1698 – 1951. (Minutes from 1952 onwards are kept in the Foundation Office).
