The Pritzker School of Medicine is the M.D.-granting unit of the Biological Sciences Division of the University of Chicago. It is located on the university's main campus in the historic Hyde Park neighborhood of Chicago and matriculated its first class in 1927.
We do not accept transfer student applications or applications for advanced standing to the Pritzker School of Medicine. All applicants must apply as incoming first-year students through AMCAS. Full-time and visiting medical students must present proof of immunity to meet current university requirements.
At the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, our entering class of students represents the infinite potential of future U.S. healthcare providers. The 90 students who make up our entering class represent 52 different colleges and universities.
