This is the first appearance of Lyle Mays and Danny Gottlieb who will become central figures in PMG. Pat continues with his moody, somber ethereal pieces, emblematic of the ECM label at this time. "Icefire", "Oasis", and "Legend of the Fountain" could easily be RalphTowner pieces.
