La isla Calavera (en inglés Skull Island), también conocida como isla Skull, isla de las Calaveras o isla del Cráneo, es una isla ficticia perdida en alguna parte del océano Índico, imaginada y creada por primera vez para la película de aventuras King Kong, de 1933.
Sinopsis: Se basa en la novela gráfica de Joe DeVito y Brad Strickland del 2004, “Kong: King of Skull Island”. La historia comienza veinticinco años más tarde, después de que Carl Denham conmocionó al mundo cuando reveló a King Kong a una multitud en el Teatro Alhambra.
Kong: Skull Island is a 2017 American monster film directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts. Produced by Legendary Pictures and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, it is a reboot of the King Kong franchise and the second film in the Monsterverse, serving as the 11th film in the King Kong franchise.
